Distribution details. In all U.S. -- except California -- distribution of new package will be via Arizona's normal distribution: DSD plus some warehouse for customers like Sam's Club and Wal-Mart. However, in southern California, Arizona distributes new 42-oz package via Kraft Foods to grocery/military channels, says Arizona executive. DSD distributors may handle it "up-and-down-the-street and (in) other channels except grocery and military," executive adds. Declares, "Kraft won't do (42-oz distribution) in rest of U.S., for at least a year."

New energy drink. Arizona also introduces "Rx Extreme Energy Shot" energy drink. Now available New York/Florida. Packed in 8.3-oz can; features plastic conical cap protruding about three inches up from top of can; resembles nose-cone of rocket or something of similar shape. Executive of Arizona competitor says packaging makes product "look like it should come with batteries."
