Price/timing. Coke said to suggest pricing of about 29¢ per packet. Flavor Rage will be in-market around Memorial Day.

Perspective. As new/flavored products have proliferated, number of fountain spigots has not. Accordingly, this device allows Coke to sell variety of flavored CSDs at fountain, without sacrificing spigot space occupied by its core brands.

Pepsi. In 2000, Pepsi tested similar product called, "Flavor Splash." Small plastic packets were in shape of and designed to evoke Pepsi's Swirl bottle. Flavors were orange, cherry and berry. Product not currently in market.
