Senior Director, DMM – Beverages
Tom’s responsibilities include division business unit leadership in support of Walgreens alcohol & non-alcohol beverage categories which includes beer, wine, spirits, energy, soft drinks, waters, sports drinks, juices, coffees, teas, and functional beverages. Tom’s background includes over 25 years of experience working for leading drug and convenience retailers as well as manufacturer’s across industrial, consumer package good, pharmaceutical, and beverage industries. He has held positions in merchandising, brand and trade marketing, sales, category management, retail analytics, e‐commerce, and shopper insights.
Tom received his PhD in Sociology with an emphasis in social psychology and organizations from the University of Notre Dame. He also holds an MBA with an emphasis in marketing and finance, a Masters in Marketing Research from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, and Bachelors degrees from Washington University/St. Louis in Economics and Maryville University in St. Louis in Management Information Systems.
