Rob Gehring is President and CEO of Swire Coca-Cola, USA. Rob is responsible for the stewardship of the 43-year-old U.S. division of Swire Coca-Cola and its special, close-knit culture while also accelerating its technology investments. These investments will make Swire Coca-Cola, USA a truly data-driven company, where every employee has the data insights required to create a limitless approach to their own potential and that of the company. Rob joined Swire Coca-Cola as Chief Operating Officer in 2018 after serving as Global Chief Sales Officer for The Hershey Company. With almost 30 years of consumer product goods experience, Rob led Hershey’s customer focused organization to drive profitable growth globally and deliver sales numbers across all business segments, retail channels and global customers. He also led sales operations for Hershey.
Prior to joining Hershey, Rob was President of the Walmart and Sam’s Club Global team for Coca-Cola North America (CCNA). His team was responsible for managing Coca-Cola’s sparkling, still, warehouse juice and fountain food service businesses across 28 countries. Formerly, he led the Canadian Field Sales organization, with over 1,600 employees, in all classes of trade, representing the entire Coca-Cola Company portfolio including sparkling, still, fountain and Minute Maid products.
Rob began his career with Coca-Cola as a Sales Analyst in Tempe, Arizona. He progressed through the Coca-Cola system and held various leadership positions with both Coca-Cola Enterprises and CCNA in sales and marketing, category management, revenue growth management and business development. He eventually became Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Desert Mountain Division and then the West Business Unit.
In total, Rob has over 26 years of experience in the Coca-Cola system. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University in Accountancy. He and his wife Lori have four children and three grandchildren and reside in Heber, Utah.
