
Barry Simpson, Coca-Cola’s chief platform services officer, will step down from the role at the end of September and remain as an advisor through February of next year. His job will be split into two parts in a reorganization of the Platform Services unit, which provides data and technology services within the company. Neeraj Tolmare will serve as chief information officer, leading digital and technology services. The remaining services will be managed by a leader yet to be named. Both will report to President and CFO John Murphy.
Clothing retailer Chico’s FAS has hired former Coca- Cola executive Leana Less as SVP of marketing. Chico’s banners include White House Black Market and Soma.
Former PepsiCo executive Stuart Beck has joined Soylent as CMO.
Former PepsiCo Americas Foods CEO Brian Cornell has signed on for another three years as CEO and board chairman of retailer Target, where he has been since 2014.
Ogilvy has hired Guillermo Vega from Saatchi & Saatchi London to lead global creative work for client Coca-Cola. His work will include Costa coffee and he will work from New York reporting to global chief creative officer Liz Taylor, according to Campaign UK.
