Speaker Bio: Michael Del Pozzo

Michael Del Pozzo was named President and General Manager of PepsiCo’s Gatorade Performance Portfolio in July 2022. In his role, Del Pozzo oversees the company’s iconic portfolio of brands that service athletes, including Gatorade, Propel, Muscle Milk, Evolve and newly launched Fast Twitch. His responsibilities include Sales, Customer Management, Brand Building, and Strategy.

A 20-year PepsiCo veteran, Del Pozzo has held positions across each of the PepsiCo business units during his tenure, including NA Beverages, Quaker Foods NA, Frito Lay North America, and PepsiCo Corp. Most recently, Del Pozzo was Senior Vice President of Sales and Chief Customer Officer for Frito-Lay U.S. In this role, Mike led the sales function overseeing strategy, sales planning, and commercialization for Frito-Lay’s U.S. customer sales organizations, with responsibility for retail, eCommerce, and food service businesses.

In other past experiences, Del Pozzo held positions as Senior Vice President, Commercial Planning for PepsiCo Beverage North America, Senior Vice President & GM leading the PepsiCo Kroger business, Regional Vice President of the Northwest Region, as well as Vice President of Sales spearheading Frito Lay’s North America Walmart Business. Prior to those assignments, Mike spent time in marketing leading Frito Lay’s Portfolio Strategy and Activation along with Sports Marketing and PepsiCo’s “Power of One” Marketing.

Mike is a graduate of Bowling Green State University and joined PepsiCo’s Quaker/Gatorade in 1998 as a Marketing & Sales Intern prior to the PepsiCo acquisition. A staunch advocate for women, he spends time as an Executive Advisor for the Texas Region of NextUp and as Executive Sponsor of PepsiCo’s Pinnacle Leadership Program.  He also works to give back to the industry serving as Co-Chair on the GMA Sales Executive Committee as well as mentoring young talent. He spends much of his time with the team in Chicago, but resides in Texas with his wife, Curry, and their two daughters, Isabella and Gabriella, both young athletes.
